The Red Square is a city square which is located in the capital city of Russia in Moscow. The Red Square is considered by many as the central square of Moscow and all of Russia because all major highways in Russia originate from the Square and has served as the main marketplace in the country for centuries. History :
The Red Square was originally a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai Gorod and was also the site of public ceremonies and proclamations or even coronation for the Tsars of Russia. It has been gradually built up over the centuries and was used for all eras of Russian governments since. During the Soviet Union era, it was renowned for a showcase of military parades
